Meet your guide
Jenevie Willes is a medicine woman, energy healer, and Reiki master whose work explores the intersection of animism, ritual practice, and lived philosophy. An urban animist, reluctant activist and devoted student of the tantric path, she brings a hedonistic, embodied approach to being alive. She often describes herself simply as a witch.
She began training in shamanic journeywork in 2001 with Hank Wesselman and Jill Kuykendall, and later spent years supporting Sundances and ceremonies with Lakota Chief Golden Light Eagle, as well as many others. These teachers and lineages continue to shape both her practice and her way of life.
Before this, she worked for many years as a professional cook. That relationship to creation, rhythm, and nourishment remains central to how she approaches her work today.
She is interested in what it means to be fully alive, to be in right relationship with land, spirit, and self, and to reclaim practices that have been flattened or forgotten. Her work engages directly with grief, pleasure, and anger, not as problems to be solved, but as forces to be worked with, listened to, and integrated.
Jenevie brings over twenty five years of experience to help you heal from physical and emotional trauma, integrate your experiences on a somatic level, and access your internal resources so you have the strength and energy to make real change. She offers immersive 1:1 mentorship, intensives, and VIP days, alongside a yearly journeywork course and gatherings in San Francisco.
Along with her practice, she is a writer, thinker, and philosopher. Her work explores culture, spirituality, power, and the human experience, and is published regularly online.
